Leeds revivalist copy of an 18th century Wedgwood portrait medallion. It is a copy of copy of class X section 2 #10

An excellent reference piece for collectors. The Leeds revival medallions are often confused with early Wedgwood examples. Leeds Pottery did not make basalt medallions in the 18th century.

Mark erased, probably to make it look like an unmarked early Wedgwood example.
