Bowl: Flaxman Dancing hours

There were two version so The Dancing Hours: The original, by Flaxman; and a replacement set from about 1800 designed by Hackwood. As usual, various stories are told about why the change; but it was probably because one of the masters was broken.

This rare example features the more flowing original version. It's had a hard life, with two breaks as seen in the pictures; but displays well from the other side, and you don't see many of these.
