Chinese Binh Thuan Shipwreck plate - Double Phoenix pattern.
The Binh Thuan was a Chinese ship, wrecked off the coast of Thailand int he early 17th century. It was disovered by accident in 2001, and found to be laden with Chinese porcelain.
The plate with worn glaze and barnacles, typical of finds from shipwrecks.
