Pair putti & goat candlesticks: Four Seasons

A rare, possibly unique, pair of candlesticks in the form of putti, representing The Four Seasons. A quite extraordinary example of porcelain sculpture at its finest for this period.

This is the pair pictured in Stonor’s book (#94); we’ve been unable to locate another complete pair, only singles without the bocage and of course the Samson copies.
