Hors D'oeuvre dish, Kakiemon

An ogival form dish, decorated after the Kakiemon. The dish is one from a presumed set of eight plus an octagonal central dish, all after a Kangxi hors d'oeuvre, sweetmeat, or condiment set, circa 1720, devised in form as a stylised eight-petalled bloom, each dish as a petal.
