Duchess of York

Portrait medallion by Bert Bentley, depicting The Duchess of York, later Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother. Made for the British Empire Cancer Council, later called The Cancer Research Campaign, which was founded in 1923 - about the time this was made. It merged with the Imperial Cancer Reseatch Fund in 2002 to become Cancer Research UK.
