Whieldonware type lidded jug

A large and very fine Whieldonware jug, complete with its cover. Holloware from this period is rare enough, but the surviving cover more than makes up for the chipping to the edges.

Unmarked, but the finial, handle and terminal are all typical of Leeds and shown in their pattern book.
