Pickle dish

Leaf shaped with serrated edge and cut stalk handle; the interior painted after the famille rose in deep pink, aubergine, yellow, blue and green with peony, chrysanthemum, prunus, leaves and insects; the underside with leaf veins and peg feet. Finely potted; dense body and silky glaze. Drab ‘mushroom grey’ appearance. Grey-green translucency.
