Ingrid’s contemporary unique style and technique of porcelain painting is created with lustres, 24crt gold, pure platinum, and other onglaze paints and paste work. Her works are carefully created with many layers of paint to create the expression and new colours, like a watercolourist does on paper.
Most art works require six to ten firings, not typical of modern porcelain or ceramic substrate artists. This is unique to Ingrid’s techniques for which she invited to as a guest artist for international exhibitions, teacher of masterclasses worldwide, magazine and media submissions, and about which she writes in her new book, soon to be published, called ‘Explore Lusters on Porcelain.”
A selection of her porcelain art works from ‘The Nature of Truth’ collecticollection was recently presented to the HRH Princess Sirindhorn (Thailand) for the Royal Art Collection.
