Dating this pair is difficult. The style suggest C1820, and this is certainly possible. The glass, however, doesn't show the usual irregularities for glass on this style of painting at this time. While certainly hand made, it's of very high quality and exhibits very little in the way of bubbles and ripples. The earlier date is certainly possible.
