Recumbent nanny goat and suckling kid on a ‘rocky’ base; the goat licking the flank of the kid.  In the white.

Modelled in a dense, heavy body showing some splits to base. Unusually high quality of body, glaze and modelling with thick, clear glaze typical of early Bow ‘sculptural’ figures.  Straw translucency. Wiped base with  central hole. L. 4.9 in (12.6 cm).

Condition: Excellent.
